Description

Update the progress for the current process in the session.

Parameters2

Coding name	progress
Description	An integer between 0 and 100. 0 means the process just started, 100 that it is finished.
Position	1
Type	Integer(Primitive type)

Coding name	total
Description	The total. If given progress will be interpreted as a counter to total.
Position	2
Type	Integer(Primitive type) NULL(Primitive type)
Default value	No total.
Comments	Relieves the caller from calculating the progress.

Comments

This makes it easy in long running POST services to give the user an indication when it will finish. Currently only POST services without a represenational component, e.g. HTML or text are displaying a percentage counter in the wait animation.
