This version offers a bundle of new features to make it easy for the developer to create tailored views for users with minimal coding effort: * Up to this Topincs version all statements made in a form were validated independent from each other. Topincs 5.3.0 improves the overall system performance through internal optimization resulting in higher scalability in respect to _data volume_ and _number of concurrent users_. This is achieved by [1873, reduction of database access], query optimization and [2055, smarter cache management]. The _virtual object-oriented programming interface_ was [2076, extended] to include the method families %add%, %set%, %count%, %has%, %delete% and %isa%. This completes the interface which was introduced with the method family %get% in Topincs 5.0. An overview of the virtual programming interface can be accessed from the admin page. The [http://www.cerny-online.com/topincs/manual/programming, programming guide] explains the virtual OOP interface in great detail. There is a new [2112, browsing mode] accessible through the side menu of a subject page. It allows you to browse through the content of a store chronologically. Keyboard support was enhanced once more: [1999, types in the start page] and [1996, paragraphs in the form] can be accessed with function keys. By holding down %Alt-Shift% for a little bit in the form page, information on the keyboard mapping appears. Some bugs related to keyboard usage in Internet Explorer and Opera were fixed.
