Developer comments
This is caused by a wrong handling of deadlocks. While the query is retried, the rest of the transaction (rolled back by the deadlock) is not. The changes that are registered by dobjects are not persisted in the database. Yet, they are persisted to file upon request end. So there is a much deeper root cause in the [8901,incorrect handling of deadlocks].
Resolved by fixing the root cause.
