Imports fail with MySQL error 1020

Issue description

Since the upgrade from bookworm to trixie, all imports in one specific production systems fail with the MySQL error message 1020: record has changed ince last read in table 'roles'.

Developer comments

This was caused by a new feature in MariaDB which is by default activated. The MariaDB configuration parameter is called %innodb_snapshot_isolation% and is by default %ON%. Switched it back to %OFF% which seems to have mitigated the problem for now.
