New function 'commit'

Issue description

When auto commit is off, there is certain situations in a service where the id of a just created topic is necessary. Also, when large amounts of data is imported, it is helpful to commit every now and then. The current approach by using Tobject::commit does not work as expected. A new function 'commit' should take its place and work without any issues.

Developer comments

Given a series of writes W1,W2, W3, ... Wn. All but the last write Wn are explicitly commited. Topincs should handle this commit automatically: *final commit is implict*. Unless of course there is an exception after Wn.
