Enhancement
Session lifetime per user group
Developer comments
In order to resume a session, the browser needs to send a valid session cookie. For a browser to do so after a restart, the session cookie must have a non-zero expires field and the client time must be before that.
For the server to accept the cookie, he must find the session information. This may fail, since the server daily cleans up old sessions with %topincs clean-sessions%. What he considers old is soley determined by %session.gc_maxlifetime%. When the session information is found, Topincs checks the time passed since the last request. This may not be older than the group's session lifetime. If that is not set, not older than the the store specific %session.timeout% which is by default 4 hours.
session.gc_maxlifetime was increased to allow long lived sessions for PWA.
