Issue description
Currently dates are displayed internationalized to some degree. But what is more important is that the human consumer can easily understand the dates in particluar on the start page in the "what's new" section, examples: today, three days ago,...

Currently this affects the main page of a store, in particular the what's new section. I think it might be good to display date-times like they are displayed in the download pane of firefox. If a date-time is today, only the time is displayed. If it is this year, but not today, only the month and the day of the month are displayed. If it is longer ago the year is displayed additionally.
